RT-CAM100 - CMOS Imager I

cmos_imager_1_blockCMOS Imager is device for capturing images from CMOS sensor and transferring them to host PC via Ethernet connection (NFS).

CMOS Imager 1 is a scientific research camera equipped with a high-resolution CMOS imager. It can be used for scientific study of transient phenomena. The system is based on an Active Pixel Sensor capable of recording 10fps at full resolution of 525H x 525V. Pixel size is 25 microns square. The device is controlled from a PC using a telnet connection on any OS, e.g. Microsoft Windows® or Linux. Interface between the device and the PC is established using dedicated Ethernet connection.

The control software runs on Linux on an embedded single-board PC. This software is used to set all parameters of the camera, including exposure time, usage of region of interest (ROI). The board has analogue inputs as well as digital I/O, enabling the user to monitor analogue signals (e.g. temperature) as well as controlling external equipment. The images are transferred to the PC using NFS (Network File System).

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
