The roots of the RT-RK Institute are at the Faculty of Technical Sciences of the University of Novi Sad. Originating from the Department for Computer Engineering and Computer Communications, the Institute nurtures a decades’ long cooperation with the Faculty and students. The Institute staff who check and challenge their knowledge on projects daily, are at the same time lecturers and professors. That ensures the most efficient transfer of knowledge from the industry to the young professionals.
The Institute provides modern infrastructure (work space, equipment) for BSc students, thus significantly increasing the quality of teaching and knowledge of undergraduates. Traditionally, we sponsor student excursions to the two largest fairs showcasing the latest in consumer electronics and multimedia, IFA in Berlin and IBC in Amsterdam. At the MSc and PhD levels we try to connect students with current research topics in the industry, hereby conveying the latest achievements to our younger colleagues.
Scholarship programs are offered from the second year of undergraduate study.

Summer schools and internships
For those who want to take advantage of summer months to learn more, the Institute traditionally organizes summer schools where the hot, yet-to-come technology topics are taught. Summer schools usually take place in the first weeks of July, and last for 5 days. For those who show special interest to spend more time with us during summer, we organize internship programs which continue for the next 4 – 5 weeks.
