OBLO (www.oblotech.com) IoT platform bundled with WISE connectivity SDK enables an easy digital transformation of the product which has multiple benefits:

RT-RK was engaged in a system integration service for Jio that made the products connected with an IoT platform.
Integration of connectivity SDK on target device
The product was equipped with the Espressif ESP32 low-power system on a chip microcontroller with integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Since the SoC is very limited in terms of resources (CPU power and memory) and runs Free RTOS, the biggest challenge was to re-write the SDK in C programming language and to port it on the ESP32 platform. After successful porting, we developed the application which abstracts the target device with WISE services and properties, and the device became part of the IoT system.
Device in mobile applications
The reference mobile applications for Android and iOS were branded for the customer as a first step. The next step was to represent the product with the most important functionalities.
Analytics dashboard
The biggest benefit for the vendor once the device becomes part of the IoT system is management of the devices deployed in the field. Our existing OBLO administration portal was extended with an analytics dashboard which shows key metrics such as newly activated devices in the past period, total activated devices, failed devices statistics, distribution of devices per region, etc.
