RT-RK will participate in Google TV Bootcamp 2026, taking place June 2–4 in Mountain View, California.
Google’s TV Broadcast Stack (CBS) has been part of ongoing development activities for RT-RK. In parallel, Cuttlefish-based development environments have become part of the broader Google TV ecosystem.
RT-RK’s current focus is software-in-the-loop (SiL) development using the Cuttlefish emulator, which supports both development and advanced testing of TV applications in a virtualized environment. By extending emulator capabilities with broadcast signal simulation and enhanced testing support, development workflows can validate functionality earlier in the lifecycle, reduce dependency on physical hardware, and enable more scalable CI/CD processes.
The emphasis is on improving development efficiency, enabling earlier-stage integration, and supporting complex TV system workflows across the Google TV platform.
Discussions at the Bootcamp will include:
- Google TV platform evolution
- CBS integration and development workflows
- Software-in-the-loop (SiL) development using Cuttlefish
- Virtualized development and validation methodologies
- Android TV / Google TV lifecycle management
With extensive experience in Android TV, operator deployments, multimedia systems, and embedded software engineering, RT-RK contributes to the development and validation of next-generation television and connected entertainment platforms within the Google TV ecosystem.
