“ Hi, I'm Jovana, I finished master's studies at Software Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade. During The students scholarship program, I worked on the development of the application that controls the STB device via voice, which was also the topic of my thesis. “ I came to RT-RK 11 years ago, as a final year student at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. The chance to do my BSc thesis through the students ‘scholarship program was very attractive to me, so I joined the company as a scholarship student. After graduating, I got a job at RT-RK, in the field of Digital TV. At the very beginning of my career in RT-RK, it was good team spirit that mainly attracted me. It remains the same after all these years, and what is more, our team has constantly been improving it. Taking part in various projects, I have had the opportunity to improve my knowledge regarding all layers of products, from hardware to the application level. I also got to know business in different cultures from all parts of the world. Now, as a Technical Lead, I am trying to contribute to a better integration of new employees, both in terms of work and social tasks, so that they feel like a part of our team and the RT-RK company.

I came to RT-RK as a junior engineer. Now I have more than fifteen years of experience on different projects regarding HW. Through various projects I have learnt how to make a complex consumer system using only a soldering iron, a little wire and a lot of imagination. During all the years in RT-RK I have gone through all phases of HW design that precede the final release. I will probably be remembered as someone who, wishing to get new knowledge, left RT-RK only to return after a few months. This all gives me confidence to say that RT-RK is the right place for you if you want to build your career in the HW department.
