Another year, another successful RT-RK Banja Luka Summer School project is behind us!

Traditionally, the RT-RK Summer School consists of several lecture courses where our interns have the opportunity to refresh existing knowledge and gain new insights into embedded systems, C and Python programming languages, Linux, Raspberry Pi, and the Git system. After these immersive courses, RT-RK summer interns worked together to create an autonomic system for solar panel positioning. In doing so, they built upon last year’s project, which focused on a system for lifting and balancing loads controlled with STM32 and Raspberry Pi.

A big thanks to this year’s lecturers—Slađan Vuković, Aleksandar Bešlić, and Srđan Popić—for their diligence and hard work, which made this year’s summer school an educational, fun, and pleasant experience for our interns.

RT-RK interns presented the outcome of a month’s worth of work, showcasing their final product. We can only congratulate our interns on a job well done. It was an exciting month full of enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and a will to grow and learn.

But our summer school wasn’t just about work! We also had additional fun activities for our interns. They had the chance to hear about our projects straight from our colleagues, participate in a soft skills training session, enjoy a rafting team-building event, and engage in other fun activities. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so check out the dozen we’ve selected!
