Günter Gromeier Appointed Executive Vice President Automotive at RT-RK

RT-RK is pleased to announce the appointment of Günter Gromeier as Executive Vice President Automotive.

Günter brings decades of high-level industry expertise in automotive software, systems engineering, and large-scale transformation. He studied Electronics and Control Engineering at Heilbronn University and holds an MBA from Reutlingen University. He began his career at ETAS, a wholly owned Bosch subsidiary, in 1995 and has since progressed through roles in engineering, sales, business development, product management, and M&A across Europe and Asia.

Most recently, Günter served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ETAS and as Senior Vice President at Robert Bosch GmbH, where he led the company’s “Data-Driven Software Company” transformation. Since September 2025, he has been advising RT-RK on its automotive software strategy, laying the foundation for the next phase of growth.

“Günter’s expertise in automotive software, systems engineering, and large-scale transformation is highly relevant to our current focus,” said Nikola Teslic, CEO of RT-RK. “His understanding of what it takes to integrate complex software platforms—across organizations, domains, and computing tiers—will be instrumental as we help OEMs and Tier 1s accelerate their software-defined vehicle roadmaps.”

Commenting on his appointment, Günter Gromeier said:

“I am excited to lead the automotive business unit at RT-RK and drive our mission of ‘Accelerating the Software-Defined Vehicle – The Lean Way.’ Our vision is to become a trusted integration partner for OEMs and Tier 1s, enabling cross-domain platform integration across all computing tiers—from silicon to cloud. By combining our deep engineering expertise with Eclipse SDV assets, we enable the harmonization of open-source, proprietary, and legacy software within a cost-competitive framework. Through lean efficiency and advanced CI/CD practices, we empower our partners to leverage modern, scalable architectures and streamline the transition to the next generation of mobility.”
