The presentation addresses a shift already underway in automotive development. CI/CD has become fundamental, but the next challenge goes beyond automating builds and tests. Requirements, architecture, compliance, validation environments, and software itself need to become part of one controlled, traceable engineering system. As AI-generated code enters production repositories, that same engineering system must be able to validate and govern it.
Nemanja will present an X-as-Code approach to the Automotive Software Factory, covering:
- X-as-Code principles for automotive software development
- automated CI/CD with integrated compliance and traceability
- shift-left validation through virtualization and simulation
- management of AI-generated code in safety-critical pipelines
This is also where the presentation connects directly with RT-RK Continuum. Continuum takes CI/CD beyond pipeline automation toward a controlled, traceable, and scalable software factory, where AI-generated contributions are governed by the same engineering processes as human ones.
